IC 5146 Cocoon Nebula

An nebula and star cluster located in the constellation Cygnus. Like other stellar nurseries it holds a bright red emission nebula , a blue reflection nebula and a dark absorption nebula. Inside is a cluster of stars including a massive central star which formed around 100,000 years ago.
